Polhawn Fort is a historic wedding venue situated in the southeast corner of Cornwall in Rame, England. Tucked away along the western tip of the Rame Peninsula, this breath taking Napoleonic fort looks out over a dramatic landscape. Below it, waves crash against the rugged and rocky Cornish coastline, reaching all the way to the Lizard Peninsula. Around the estate, verdant lawns filled with wildflowers blanket the grounds. In this secluded and sophisticated venue, couples are invited to celebrate their momentous occasion.

Polhawn Fort is reached by a drawbridge, which only adds to its ancient yet timeless feel. Once you cross the drawbridge, you can crest the spiral staircase to the Grand Napoleonic Hall. This hall features vaulted ceilings, stunning views of the Peninsula, and seating for up to 100 people. You can host your ceremony here, or in the Emperor’s Room, which is best for intimate celebrations of 30 people. You also have the option of dining al fresco in The Summer House, where you will enjoy the beautiful seascape and calls of the seabirds. If you prefer your wedding breakfast indoors, you will be serenaded by the crackling of fire logs and bathed in warm candlelight.
