Back to the roots Exec Chef and owner Andrew Dombrowski was born and raised in Central Asia, amongst a melting pot of cultures which houses a multitude of centuries old cuisines- the traditions of which naturally influenced his becoming of a chef. Andrew loves and is skilled at using the varied herbs and spices hailing from that corner of the world, adding a new depth of flavour into his dishes. The closeness to the culturally rich Korean settlement taught him traditional techniques such as fermentation of products which is widely used in Korea and other countries of East Asia. Andrew also studied and lived in Lower Silesia, where he continued honing the skill of Slavic cuisine. At the age of 26, Andrew moved to the UK where his career as a chef kicked off. Starting at the pot wash station allowed him to learn the language and begin his career as a chef in England. Andrew was completely captivated by the history and rich variety of the English cuisine and his mission as Exec Chef since then has been restoring and preserving the culinary traditions of Great Britain, which he mixes with unique techniques picked up along the way.
